Kia ora.  My name is Marja. I live in Palmerston North and cover the parts of the Manuwatu area including Pahiatua face to face.  I am happy to do the occasional online work but prefer to do face to face.  At the moment I work from 8 until 6 on a Wednesday and Friday and 8 until 12 on a Saturday.  I come from Dutch Parents and have lived in both South Africa and England but now call New Zealand my home.  I started off as a nurse working with dying and bereaved people for many years and  then studied Psychology with a major in death, dying and bereavement.  I have worked as a counsellor for the past 7 years ago and have been involved in suicide bereavement groups for the past 4 years.  I am passionate about people and their stories, and provide an environment of safety and non-judgmental space for you to tell your story and process your grief.
