My name Is Julia. I am a counsellor based in sunny Nelson. I work with clients within the Nelson, Marlborough and Tasman regions face to face, but also work alongside clients from other regions online.

I graduated with a degree in counselling three years ago, and since then, I have worked with adults, young people, and tamariki who have experienced grief, and been bereaved by suicide.

Due to myself experiencing bereavement by suicide, I am passionate about this area of work.  This is a time where every person should have a trained professional that is able to provide a safe and non-judgemental place to talk, without fear. A place where the person can work through their own grief processes, tell their story in a way that’s meaningful to them and have someone who will listen genuinely and compassionately.
