Auckland/ Mt Eden/ Counsellor/ Face to Face/ Telehealth/ Lived experience/ Adults

Face to Face: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Online: Monday and Wednesday

Kia ora. My name is Cari. I grew up in bottom of the South Island and since my 20s have lived and worked in the Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland region. I am of Pākehā and Māori descent, and whakapapa primarily to Ngāi Te Rangi and Ngāti Raukawa. While my work background is broad, I have worked and volunteered in many health-related settings over the years before formally retraining and becoming a registered counsellor. In my work now, I see mainly adult clients in Mt Eden but also work online with people from all around the country. Two days a week I work exclusively online: Mondays and Wednesdays, and am available for in-person sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  My desire to work in this field stems from my personal experiences of having being bereaved by suicide, first of a parent many years ago, and later a very close family member.
