Thursday and Friday 9am-2pm (last appointment 1pm)

Kia Ora. My name is Brittany Nicholson. I am based in South Auckland Pahurehure. I am in office on Thursday and Friday between the hours of 9am and 2pm. I work for a number of different services and in private practice, with the bulk of my experience working in both men’s and women’s prisons where I have worked with a lot of different people and presentations. I am drawn to this area of work as I understand grief and grief by suicide to be an area of profound impact. Suicide hits us in a distinct way and sometimes we just need some someone to nonjudgmentally hold, and guide us through the pain of our grief journey. I love my mahi and believe the counselling space is tapu and every client who comes through my door is treated with dignity and respect. Everyone has a story to tell and Id love to hear yours.
