Kia ora, my name is Anne Bate. I am originally from the Kapiti district, although I now live in sunny Nelson. I am a counsellor, and have supported clients on their individual journeys for over 9 years.

When we go through terrible times it can really help to have someone who can really listen, understand, and support you. 

I have both been suicidal in my life and been bereaved by suicide, and this is part of what brought me to be trained to support those bereaved by suicide.
