I am a counsellor who is passionate about working with my clients. I am committed to supporting them in moving toward their goals whilst targeting the factors which have compromised their general wellbeing. This line of work appeals to me because I think everyone should have access to assistance where they may share their narrative, process their experiences in a secure space, free from judgment, and have their story valued. Throughout the counselling process, we can collaborate to find strategies for assisting you in addressing your thoughts, feelings, experiences and ideas too.
I work in a client-centred way across gender, ethnicity and age, using a range of modalities which include Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Relationship Therapy (Couples), Sand Tray and Interactive Drawing.
After initially pursuing a career in teaching, I then trained as a counsellor and worked in the prison sector as a Chaplain. I have also facilitated courses, namely in parenting and grief and loss.
