Kia ora. My name is Verona. I am based in Auckland where I have lived for the last 20 years since immigrating with my family from South Africa. I am available to meet face to face with anyone from the Counties Manukau area who is able to come to my office in Howick.
Over the last few years, I have run Waves, an 8 week bereaved by suicide support group, which has drawn me to this work. I currently work at a social service based at a church. I am a registered OT with over 15 years’ experience in the area of mental health, working with adults, families and with children.
My heart is for people to be able to share their journey through the loss of their loved one, in a safe space and find hope for their future.
