 Thursday and Fridays

Kia ora. My name is Theresa. I am from Sussex in England and based in Cambridge: I have lived there for 27 years. I originally trained and worked as a grief counsellor with an organisation called Cruse in England. In this country, part of my counselling training was at Hospice Waikato and included working with bereaved family/whānau. I have experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and of all ages, including children and young people. I was formerly a teacher and I am a parent, and I am LGBTQIA+ friendly. I am drawn to this area of work through lived experience of the particular difficulties of being bereaved by suicide. I offer support for you to tell your story and process your experience in a safe and non-judgmental space. I am available to meet you on Thursdays and Fridays.
