 Monday and Thursdays, 10am-3pm

Kia ora,

I'm glad you’ve clicked on my profile. My name is Susi, I live by the beach in Mangawhai with my whānau. Before that I lived in many places across England, Europe, The South Island and Australia. I’m an Occupational Therapist and I’ve been working with tamariki, rangatahi and whanau in the mental health and wellbeing space for over 20 years. I have specialist skills working with disability, neurodiversity and other special needs. I speak English and German.  I am available Mondays and Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm and some weekend  and after hours work by negotiation.

I’m drawn to this work because I care about people and community. I believe everyone has a right to be listened to,  to tell their story and receive support, especially during  times of grief, loss , trauma and sadness. I’ve been lucky enough to benefit from the listening ears and the open hearts of skilled professionals in my moments of sadness and despair and I would like to extend that aroha to you. I’m really good at listening, providing a judgement free space for you to process and navigate your feelings. We can work together in a way that suits you best, whether thats face to face, over the phone or zoom, in a comfortable counselling room or out in nature. Together, we can create a safe, judgment-free environment to navigate your journey.  I’m happy to work with what meets your needs, and look forward to talking with you if it feels right for you.
