Kia ora. My name is Rosemary Allan (Rose).

I was born in the Manawatu and have lived (and worked) in this area all my life.

I am a counsellor with approx. 20 years experience working in the areas of grief and of suicide grief/loss, and for many years have facilitated a group program for people after a suicide. Over these 20 years I have had lots of experience working with people from a wide range of ages, and with diverse backgrounds.

I work Monday to Friday in Palmerston North, although weekend availability can be negotiated. I also provide online counselling for people throughout the country.

I am drawn to this area of work, because I understand the importance of people being able to share their stories. This supports the processing of experiences, thoughts and feelings in a way that is safe and supports people to find ways to learn to live with their grief and loss.
