 Fridays 9am-4pm

Kia Ora Koutou,
Hakoa no whenua kē oku Mātua Tupuna, i whanau mai ahau, ki Turanga-nui-a-kiwa.
I te taha o toku whaea:
Ko Hikurangi te maunga
Ko Waiapu te awa,
Ko Ngati Porou te iwi.
Ko Rachael Phillips toku ingoa.

I was born and raised in Gisborne but now live in Tauranga. My dad ended his life
early when I was 12-years-old. This flipped my entire world upside down and
brought painful experiences of grief, and unanswered questions, anxiety and PTSD.
The journey of healing led me to studying counselling with a vision to support others
to find ways to speak and find hope through a shared journey.
I have a Master of Counselling (Narrative Therapy) and work experience with
rangatahi and adults bereaved through suicide through my work as a school
counsellor and suicide loss peer supporter. I work in Brookfield, Tauranga (Fridays
9am-4pm) with individuals, in-person and online.
