Ngā mihi mahana,

I’m Maria.

Born and bred in Ngāti Awa, Whakatāne and currently residing in Rotorua.

I believe in the healing magic of kōrero, language and finding the right person to support ones journey which is what has drawn me into this space. Working alongside family bereaved by suicide is a privilege and supporting them to process their experiences in a way that is safe and free from judgement is my purpose.

Into my mahi I interweave lived experience, my culture, my Reo and education to ensure whānau feel heard and seen. There is no quick fix when dealing with matters of the heart and finding your pace within all the layers that grief and loss gifts us is the voyage.
