Living with your unique grief, the stress and anxiety that goes with it every day can take its toll. Not knowing how to move forward, how to move from the couch, even to step outside the door, it’s exhausting. I want to help.
You’ll be welcomed into a compassionate & safe space where you are seen, heard & respected.
I’m a Wellington-based private counsellor who works with teenagers & adults to improve mental health and wellbeing. I offer face to face appointments in Wellington (Wednesdays) and Lower Hutt (Tuesdays) as well as telephone and zoom appointments (Monday to Thursday) for the whole country.
I’m a nurse of more than 20 years & am now specifically trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) & Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT.)
For three years I ran a Waves educational support group for those bereaved by suicide.
I choose to work in this space from lived experience.
I’m deeply passionate about people and believe in unique needs being respected with appropriate care being offered. Commitment to care is at the core of everything I do. You are important to me. You shouldn’t have to do this alone.
