Kia ora, my name is Heather Watson. I have lived throughout Canterbury for most of my life.
For the past 21 years I have been working alongside people who have experienced many types of grief and loss. Over the last seven years, as a trained counsellor, I have been counselling people who have been challenged by suicidal thoughts and those who have been impacted by others suicide.
I am drawn to this work because grief is a journey and everyone should be able to access support during this journey, their story is honoured, and process their experiences in a way that is safe, without fear of being judged. We, you and I, can work on ways to help you process youtr thoughts, feelings and experiences.
