Kia ora, my name is Andrea Greer. I bring over 18 years of experience to my work with children, youth, and families. My path to becoming a therapist was deeply personal; at age 12, I experienced the traumatic loss of my closest friend in an aeroplane crash, and I have also walked the difficult path of losing a friend to suicide. These experiences have shaped my belief that every story deserves to be honoured in a safe space and that we can find healing and hope in the darkest of times.
As a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s endorsed in Mental Health, I specialise in Synergetic Play Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). I am passionate about journeying alongside you as explore your story together. Whether face-to-face in Mataura or Gore, or online throughout Aotearoa, I look forward to connecting with you.
