Tena Koutou, tena koutou katoa.
My name is Sally Avison. Initially from Wellington, I've lived most of my life in Auckland and moved to Southland 2 years ago.
I have an office at Integr8 in Gala Street, Invercargill; and I also provide Zoom or phone appointments from my home in Bluff.
I work Mon-Friday, 9-5pm. On Tuesdays I am based at the Loss & Grief Centre in Invercargill, where I have worked for 2 years.
I have been working as an RN/ Counsellor for more than 30 years and more recently I have trained as an IIN Health Coach and a Mindfulness Mentor. I have a wide range of experience working in the community and in public hospitals, and I currently work casually in Mental Health. I have a lifelong passion for suicide prevention and for helping the bereaved by suicide deal with their tragic loss and reach a place of acceptance, peace and hope for the future.
