Kia ora koutou. I’m Ruth, and I grew up in the South Waikato. Although my practice is based in Rotorua, I’m able to meet with you in Taupō, Tokoroa, Otorohanga, Hamilton, Te Awamutu, and Tauranga, or online, if face-to-face doesn’t suit you.

I do this mahi on Monday-Wednesday, with other availability by arrangement.

I have a background in teaching and psychology and have recently trained as an art therapist. I believe the arts can help us express and understand our emotions and experiences, especially when we are struggling to put them into words. No artistic skill is necessary – my work is focused on the process, rather than a finished product. Together, we can explore what you’re going through in a safe, meaningful way.  I specialise in working with tamariki and rangatahi but am open to people from all walks of life.
