Kia ora, I’m Jo. Originally from Manchester in the UK, I am now based in Culverden, working from Amberley, and provide face-to-face support across much of the Hurunui region, as well as online counselling throughout Aotearoa.

I work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9am–4pm, and Wednesdays from 9am–1.30pm, with some limited weekend availability.

I am a counsellor with over three years’ experience supporting people through grief, loss, and bereavement by suicide. I have worked with individuals, couples, families/whānau, and people from a wide range of cultures, identities, and life stages.

I am deeply drawn to this work because I believe everyone deserves a safe space to tell their story, process their experiences, and feel heard without judgment. It is a privilege to walk alongside people and honor their stories as they navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
