Kia ora. My name is Jason. I am based in Auckland and originally from Australia. I work mainly face to face across most of Auckland, and can also work online or by phone throughout Aotearoa. I am a counsellor of over 30 years’ experience working with grief, loss, complex life challenges and people bereaved by suicide. I have experience working across diverse cultural backgrounds, all kinds of demographics, gender identifications, ages and beliefs. I work with individuals, couples and groups, and I specialise from youth through to our older generation to fully embrace our whanau. I moved into this kind of counselling support work after I had my own significant losses, and as a counsellor I believe we all need a safe place to begin to share, honour, understand and process our life experiences, and the lives of those we love.
