Kia ora, my name is Brigitte Fowler, I live in Kaipara, Northland.

I have been part of the Whangarei, Jigsaw North Manaaki Whānau team for four years, working alongside children, teens, and adults on a wide range of issues. Previously, I worked for an iwi that provides social support services.  and earlier in my counselling journey I was counselling women and children in crisis.

I believe the wellbeing and mental health of people who are grieving is essential. Grief is a deeply personal journey; however, it is also a shared experience.

Sometimes, though, we can feel out of our depth and need someone to listen, guide, and walk alongside us. I work with individuals or together with their whānau, offering support in a way that best fits their needs. For children and adolescents, I bring creative approaches that help them express and process their experiences in a safe, supportive environment.
